Ricardo, who was a Peace Corp Volunteer to Brazil many years ago, also visited the school and commented on his visit to Acari "They're real people here, well worth knowing.  I admire what they've done, all of them.  The cleanliness of the town and their pride in being the cleanest town in Brazil.  Their museum - I meant what I said about people who forget and neglect their past are giving away their future.  You have to learn and grow or you wind up just spinning your wheels - tru both for ordinary individuals and for societies.  The pastor and especially his wife are the builders of the future - taking time to help kids.  What can you say?  Too many people everywhere that need help, consideration, respect, a chance for a future.... "
